Background

Our accounting firm was established to provide efficient, expert solutions to businesses and individuals. Our primary services include accounting, taxation, and business consulting. We also offer a host of specialty services to cater to the unique needs of our clients. Our partners and staff accountants serve a wide range of individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations and are proficient in the accounting issues and tax laws that impact our clients.

SRM & Company, LLC. is a professional firm of Certified Public Accountants, management and technology consultants.

The firm consists of one principal and a staff of approximately 10 professional and administrative personnel.

Our Team

Carl E. Mosley, CPA, LLC Member

Mr. Mosley founded his practice in 1968 and merged with a public accounting firm in 1972. He became a partner in the firm of Sebastian & Mosley, Ltd in 1973 and continued the firm as a CPA practice upon the retirement of the managing partner in 1983. The firm emphasized individual and corporate tax preparation as well as small business growth and development. The merger with SMR Financial Group, LLC, effective January 1, 2003, forming the new firm of Stitcher, Mosley & Company, P.A., expands the services being offered to the more than 600 individual and commercial clients being serviced by Mr. Mosley.

A graduate of Benjamin Franklin University with a bachelor of Science Degree, Mr. Mosley is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Maryland. He is a member of the National Association of Accountants, Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Maryland Society of Accountants. He has served as an officer and director of numerous civic organizations and condominium associations throughout Maryland.

Mr. Mosley is an officer and director of the firm. His activities continue to focus on individual and corporate taxation as well as small business development and business valuations.

Terrence P. Regan, MBA, CPA, LLC Member

Mr. Regan founded his practice in 1981 as a sole practitioner, and developed it into the multi-professional firm Regan & Company, which served clients in seventeen states and four foreign countries, but principally in the greater Baltimore-Washington area.

Prior to founding his practice, Mr. Regan spent several years as controller for a heavy construction contractor, and several years as controller and CFO for a large regional hospitality company based in the District of Columbia, Mr. Regan was a member of the adjunct faculty at Anne Arundel Community College for several years teaching business administration, and taught for several years at Prince George's Community College in the areas of accounting systems and taxation. Mr. Regan has been a speaker before many local and national groups, has been an expert tax guest on various radio programs such as "Wealth of Advice." Mr. Regan was also cohost of "Business & Personal," a public access television program in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Mr. Regan is a Certified Public Accountant, holds an Associate of Arts degree from Black Hawk College, Moline, Illinois, a Bachelor of Arts degree conferred with honors in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, University College at College Park, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Investments from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Regan is a member of several professional and trade associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Restaurant Association. Mr. Regan has served on several nonprofit boards including the positions of Treasurer and then as President of Chartwell Golf and Country Club, President of the Archbishop Spalding High School PFA, is a member of the Peer Review Committee of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and is serving as Board Member of a regional financial services corporation. Mr. Regan is also a decorated veteran of Vietnam.

Mr. Regan provides a broad based tax background, an industry emphasis on construction and hospitality, an ERISA profit sharing audit expertise, a penchant for consulting using business modeling, and a focus on technical accounting and tax compliance.
